A Look Under the Hood! The Team Elmer's fleet is quite large and diverse. Chances are you've seen us hauling equipment down the road to a new project. Or maybe a concrete mixer delivering a fresh batch of concrete to a contractor. Or possibly even one of our cranes reaching high in the sky at a local business. But what you don't see is the team of mechanics that work around the clock to keep that equipment running smoothly. Our mechanics shop runs 6 days a week , 24 hours a day, with 3 shifts of capable technicians that tackle a number of different challenging repairs day in and day out. It's the hard working behind-the-scenes crew that keeps the fleet running day after day, allowing the rest of our crews to complete their work out in the field! And when unexpected repairs surface, we count on them to get the equipment up and running, quickly and safely, so the crew is able to finish the job! Mechanics sort multiple repair requests by priority, completing those that are needed immediately for a project first and working their way down the line.
So, let's pop the hood and grab a wrench, because we're giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the guys that keep the wheels turning! |
Leadership Lunch Club Speaker! Team Elmer's Communications Director, Tonya Wildfong is scheduled to speak at the Leadership Lunch Club on April 8th, highlighting the six levels of service in the featured book, "Uplifting Service: The Proven Path to Delighting Your Customers, Colleagues, and Everyone Else You Meet," by Ron Kaufman. Team Elmer's continues to work towards creating a culture where service is part of our DNA and is more than just nice smiles and being nice to the customer. Tonya will use a variety of examples from Team Elmer's experiences to illustrate how connecting employees and the job they do each day to a higher purpose increases job satisfaction and encourages a desire to better serve customers.
