One lucky northern Michigan resident will win $5,000 toward a new residential asphalt driveway. The contest is open from April 1-30. At the conclusion of the contest, one winner will be randomly selected and announced later this spring.

• Contest entries must be received between April 1 and 30, 2014.
• Residential addresses only.
• One entrant will be randomly selected to receive $5,000 toward an asphalt driveway. Award must be redeemed by August 31, 2015. Prize has no cash value.
• Contest is open to residents of Team Elmer's Esphalt™ Service Areas of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, or Wexford counties who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Team Elmer’s employees and their immediate family are not eligible.
• No purchase necessary. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.

Team Elmer's Debuts

Patriotic Trailers

Team Elmer's Patriotic super train aluminum trailers (for hauling gravel material to job sites) will be featured in the MAC Trailers Booth at the 2014 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky March 27-29. 

“We hope it inspires and reminds us all that we live in THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. It is humbling to remember and honor those who are committed to the same feeling, so much so, they are willing to put their lives on the line for it! The trailer is our little way to thank them for the sacrifices they’ve made for us,” said Team Elmer’s president Troy Broad. 

The trailers, built by MAC through Hudsonville Trailers, are constructed with aluminum boxes and frames with galvanized steel on all exposed parts. The trailer is equipped with air disc brakes, Michelin XOne tires with aluminum wheels, and a central tire inflation system. This system not only increases tire life and fuel efficiency, it also keeps all the tires at a constant tire pressure. If a tire gets punctured, this gives the driver the ability to get back to the repair yard safely. Continuous pressure from the semi-tractor air system is pumped into the leaking tire until it can be repaired. 

Our installation crew Dan Strehlke and Scott Nichols took four days to install the vinyl wrap, provided by Britten Media, over the exterior structure. Click this YouTube link for the highlight reel in 2 1/2 minutes.

The trailer caused such a stir that MAC hosted their own Veteran Appreciation Day at their facility.
