Team Elmer’s completed 3.24 miles of the Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail, which is a proposed new linear park intended for non-motorized recreational activities and non-motorized transportation between Boyne City and Charlevoix. The trail will connect the City of Boyne City with the Little Traverse Wheelway, which currently links Charlevoix with Petoskey and Harbor Springs.
When the trail is finished, it will be a paved 10-foot wide, 14-mile long path mostly detached from Boyne City Road. The project will be completed in 5 phases—Phases 1 and 2 have already been finished.

Team Elmer’s came in to help with Phase 2 of the Boyne City to Charlevoix Trail. This phase consisted of 3.24 miles of hot mix asphalt shared-use path, retaining walls, and grading on US-31 from Waller Road to Boyne City Road and on Boyne City Road from US-31 to Quarterline Road in Charlevoix county.
