The crew faced weather complications, such as high winds, causing waves to disrupt their work environment. There was also very limited access for trucks to enter the job site. Team Elmer’s subcontracted the concrete finish work out to Bella Concrete. Bella Concrete poured the concrete for the red cross right in front of the Camp’s main building, Wigwam. The wood decking, stairs, and platform were done by Spence Brothers. Team Elmer’s provided site grading, demolition, restoration, seat rocks, sidewalk prep and installation, the wood deck, handrail fire cooking grate, and surveying.
The project was completed in two phases, each completed on time. Camp Arcadia is ready for campers and guests to enjoy their new waterfront.
